Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies ProfitClerk uses on https://profitclerk.com, and how you control them. For how we handle personal data in general, see our Privacy Policy.
1. Cookies we always use
These are strictly necessary for the site to work and be secure, so they do not need your consent. You can block them in your browser, but then you will not be able to sign in.
| Name | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
Session cookie (named after the app, ending in _session) | Keeps you signed in and remembers your choices (such as language) while you browse. | Until you close the browser or after 2 hours without activity |
XSRF-TOKEN | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery. | 2 hours |
remember_web_… | Keeps you signed in on this device, only if you tick "Remember me". | Up to 400 days, or until you sign out |
cookie_consent | Remembers the choices you made in the cookie banner, so we do not ask again. | 6 months |
We also store small items in your browser's local storage to remember that you closed an announcement (announcement-dismissed-…). They never leave your device.
2. Optional cookies
We only use optional cookies, such as analytics to understand how the site is used or marketing cookies to measure campaigns, if you agree in the cookie banner. They are off until you choose to turn them on, and turning them off again is as easy as turning them on.
You can change your choice at any time in Cookie settings (also linked at the bottom of every page).
3. Third-party content
Fonts and images on our site are served from our own servers. Payment pages are run by Whop, and if you turn on push notifications in the app, Google Firebase is used to deliver them; these services follow their own cookie and privacy policies.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in from working.
