Questions
Does Vinted charge sellers fees?
No. Vinted takes nothing from the seller; the buyer pays Vinted's fee on top of the item price, plus postage.
Is selling on eBay free for private sellers?
On eBay.co.uk and eBay.de private sellers pay no selling fees. In the UK eBay charges the buyer a Buyer Protection fee instead, much like Vinted. Business sellers pay final value and per-order fees.
Which is cheaper for the buyer?
It depends on the price: both add a fixed amount and a percentage to the item price. Enter your price above to compare.
What else should I think about?
How fast items sell, who shops there (Vinted is strongest for clothing), postage options, and whether you need business features such as invoices and multiple listings at once.
